I contacted Diana on a Wednesday afternoon, with a hope that I would be driving by myself just ten days later. I hadn´t expected her to take the news too well... But she said we´d be able to make a sensible decision based on my first 90min lesson.

In truth, I had driven before - but my Channel Islands license had expired some years ago and I had no real need to get things fired up again until very recently.

Diana was exemplary; her cool, calm and collected manner rubbed off on me from the moment I sat in the car.

A world away from lessons I´d had more than a decade previously, driving was obviously number one priority - but she was able to keep me relaxed (yet focused!) in pressurised situations... of my own making. This was as much a battle with the mental aspects of being in control of half a tonne of metal, as the actual techniques of manipulating the vehicle.

Never have I been able to witter on about so much, and babble about the things in my life without being told to be quiet.

As much as a driving instructor as a reader and understander of people, I´d surmise that I probably owe Diana more money for therapy, than I paid for my lessons...

I passed. I was, and still am, elated. It was down to some perfectly tailored teaching - I´m thrilled to be able to recommend Diana. She´s ace. She´s amazing. She not only helped me take control of a car, but my life too.

ARTSITHA 7/7/15 Diana Hadley is a wonderful driving instructor, not only did she guide me through my lessons with great encouragement, but she also took the time to get to know me, and understand the type of person I am and what kind of instructor she needed to be to bring the best out of me. With her cool, calm and collected manner - I felt incredibly comfortable driving with her beside me as she was patient and clear with her instructions, and she wouldn’t move on until I felt confident with what I was doing. She would always find little analogies (or songs!) to help me remember things – and they really did work! She’s funny, friendly and chatty and is definitely key to me passing with 0 minors. Recently passing my driving, test I thought I should share my experience of learning with Diana. Growing up with learning differences (Dyspraxia, Dyslexia and ADHD) I always knew learning to drive would be a personal challenge with regards to how I learn. On starting learning with Diana she was patient and reassuring, something which was apparent through my whole driving experience, even when I struggled to remember scenarios which had already been well covered previously.

Along with the previous points, Diana was a clear instructor, always explained everything in detail before and whilst I learnt new manoeuvres and driving (in new areas and situations) allowing plenty of practise time though out lessons. I would strongly recommend learning with Diana, she will cover all the requirements in great detail and is always happy to help you understand any questions you may have regarding your learning and driving.)
